Exile Primer, How to survive your trial period.

The Exile website has loads of information regarding rules and policies on PVE, PVP, DKP, Team rosters, the Code of Conduct and mucho more. As this is quite a lot of information to plough through, this page will have a simple overview of the do's and don'ts while being a member of Exile and specificaly the trial period.
below this post you'll find the most important links, we assume you have read this or will read them after you finished reading this.

1st off, the rules we set out bellow might seem strict and prohibitive, but they are there to make your stay in Exile as pleasant as possible for everybody with the least amount of drama. Exile don't like drama. The points bellow can all be summed up with one word smile "common sense".

1. Have fun!!!!
2. Exile is not a hardcore raiding guild, we are serious in our raiding but the social aspect is important too.
Try to look at the bigger picture, its not all about YOU. Selfish play styles are not seen as something positive. Don't expect to be awarded with the best loot after boss fights on your first night.
3. Respect other as you would like to be respected. Exile is a little community on its own, try to be social.
At the end of the day its just a game. Disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.
4. Be honest, don't lie, remember the Warcraft realm is a small one.. all is recorded.
5. Be informed, we expect you to regularly check out the forum, the forum is the most important platform where we post information, polls and announcements.
6. Be supportive to the guild, you need us we need you.
7. Be active, if we invite you into the guild for raiding we expect you to be active and to be able to raid with the majority of raids.
We don't invite people for 25man that can't run /participate in the majority of organized raids.
8. Listen to the leaders, follow their directions, if you have issues with a leader that seem to be unresolvable, talk to the GM.
9. Its OK to disagree with rules and regulations, but there is a time and place for everything, raids are not the time and place to discuss these disagreements. Most rules are the rules they are due to numerous discussions within the officer group.
If you have a disagreement, address this to the GM or officers, don't nag and bitch in guild/raid/party/chat, don't cause drama.
When u address your issues to me or the officers, we will always listen, we might agree or not agree with your viewpoints, either way when the issue has been discussed and the final word is said, there is no need to relive that moment.
10. When you want to run with a raid, make this known by signing up with group calendar, don't stalk the raid leaders.
There is no use repeating to a raid leader you are available and ready for an invite.... too much repeats annoys raid leaders... up to the point you don't get invited at all.
11. Don't expect a spot in the raid group, we of course will try to get as many people running raids as possible, unfortunately the amount of players allowed inside the dungeon is limited. (we tried to get 35peeps into a 25 peeps dungeon, but some came back all mushy).
As a Lost Soul we will try to get you into as many raids as possible, how else are you gonna prove your worth?
12. Be prepared, make sure you have your consumables, addons and a working TS before you start raiding. Having to configure stuff five minutes before start causes delays and puts stress on the raid.
13. Applying for trials at another guild during your trail period is not allowed. Detection of such an application will terminate the Exile Trial period
14. And last but not least.. HAVE FUN!!!!

Our current 25-man raiding times are:

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: 20:30 - 23:30 game time

If you take the above into account you have very good change on making it.
Of course, there are no guarantees in life. There might be other reasons not to continue the membership.

Now the most important things to read up upon when u get invited are:
1. Exile Code of Conduct.

2. DKP bidding rules and regulations.
